We are Homeward Hounds - CCBC Licensed, Fully Insured, First Aid Trained and DBS Checked.
This is our gorgeous dog Phoebe, a friendly Saluki Greyhound. When she’s not zooming around at a rate of knots, she’s flat-out snoozing - just like any typical Sighthound!
Your dog will be treated as part of the family, enjoying all of the home comforts that Phoebe does with plenty of sofas and doggy beds to chill out on. Whether they are running around the garden, trying out the Agility Course, digging in the Sandpit, or taking a well-earned rest, they will certainly enjoy their stay with us.
Although we are based in Bedwas in the Caerphilly County Borough, we will happily accommodate dogs from further afield.
After many years of hard graft in the construction industry, I decided it was time for a change of direction and to do something for a living that I would actually enjoy doing.
My love of animals, particularly dogs led me to the decision to start Homeward Hounds and I haven’t looked back.
I love every minute of my working day, the dogs certainly keep me on my toes and I love watching them make friends, grow and develop.
My crazy Labrador loves walks with Homeward Hounds and really enjoys being with their friendly resident sighthound Phoebe!

Our saluki Cleo stayed at Homeward Hounds for daycare and we were delighted with the service they provided. Cleo had a fantastic day, she was very well looked after and came home happy. We will be using them again.
